In Oregon's land so grand, A district was formed, oh so planned. Polk and Yamhill, they're part of the scene, With Marion, Clackamas, and Washington, serene. In the heart of the state, Salem does reside, The capital city, where laws abide. The district stretches, far and wide, With Portland's suburbs, side by side. In 2022, a race began, Sixteen candidates, oh my, oh man! They all wanted to represent, The people's voice, their intent. The people voted, with hopes held high, For the one who would reach the sky. A member elected, to the House they go, To serve the district, to make it glow. So here's to Oregon's 6th District, hooray! A place where democracy finds its way.
