OR1L8 (gene)

Where scents dance upon the land, There's a special protein, so great, That helps us smell and appreciate. A gene that helps us find our way, It interacts with molecules so fine, To trigger smells that are divine. It starts a journey we all adore, Neurons fire, signals are sent, As we explore each fragrant scent. Like other receptors it's so neat, Recognizing smells, both near and far, Guiding us like a twinkling star. For the joy of smells it provides, From flowers blooming in the spring, To cookies baking, oh, what a thing! Random page: SVA Bad Hersfeld
