O Blood and Water
In a land of faith and grace,
There lived a sister with a glowing face,
Faustina, she was called, so kind and true,
With visions of Jesus, her heart he drew.
She saw the Christ, so full of love,
Sent from heaven, a gift from above,
He spoke to her of mercy divine,
And gave her a prayer, so sweet, so fine.
With rosary beads, the prayer was said,
Each bead a plea, to heal hearts that bled,
The Chaplet of Mercy, a devotion so pure,
To bring peace and love, to make hearts endure.
Anglicans too, can join in this prayer,
With beads in hand, they need not despair,
For the Divine Mercy knows no bounds,
In every heart, his love resounds.
So let us pray, with hearts full of love,
To the Divine Mercy, who watches from above,
May his mercy flow, like a river so wide,
And bring us all closer, to his loving side.
