POCSO Act
In India's land, so vast and grand,
Laws were made to take a stand,
To protect the children, young and small,
From harm and danger, one and all.
The Parliament spoke, with voices strong,
Passing a bill, it didn't take long,
POCSO, the Act, was born that day,
To keep the innocence of children at bay.
Guidelines were set, by Women and Child,
To ensure protection, gentle and mild,
The rules were made, in November's breeze,
Ready for implementation, with utmost ease.
India, a land with children galore,
With a population that's never a bore,
Nearly five hundred million, young and free,
Their safety and rights, a guarantee.
Article 21, the Constitution's embrace,
Ensures children's protection, with grace,
As a signatory to the UN's decree,
India stands tall, for all to see.
