Announced in 2015, it came to be, With open arms and a wide embrace, A high-dynamic-range video standard, That brought a smile to every face. But beware, my little friends, For HDR10 is not like the rest, It's not backward compatible with SDR, So make sure you pass the test. It has static metadata, oh so grand, But dynamic metadata it does lack, It can't optimize content for your display, Based on the creator's intent, that's a fact.
