In Northwest Indiana, where the campuses lay, Purdue University Northwest, bright and gay. Two campuses it has, so full of cheer, Hammond and Westville, both so dear. With programs galore, for all to explore, Undergraduate and graduate, there's so much more. Over 70 degrees, to choose and to find, Knowledge and wisdom, they're all intertwined. But in 2022, a tale took a twist, A chancellor's actions, they were not to be missed. Insensitive remarks, imitating Asian speech, Criticism and outrage, they were within reach. The Board of Trustees, they had to decide, Should the chancellor stay, or should he step aside? Controversy and anger, they filled the air, But the decision was made, he would still be there.
