PUNCH

In the vast expanse of space so wide, A mission embarked on a cosmic ride, PUNCH, the name it proudly bears, To study the Sun and its heavenly affairs. Four microsatellites, small and bright, Will venture forth, like stars in the night, With 3D imaging, they'll capture the view, Of the corona and heliosphere, oh so true. From the middle of the corona's glow, To 1 AU from the Sun, they will go, Observing the system, connected and grand, Unlocking the mysteries, hand in hand. Originally set for launch in twenty-three, But now in twenty-five, they'll finally be free, Ridesharing with SPHEREx, a mission so neat, Together they'll explore, in space they'll meet. Led by Craig Edward DeForest, a brilliant mind, At the Southwest Research Institute, he'll find, PUNCH is funded for no more than a sum, Of one hundred and sixty-five million, oh what fun! So let's cheer for PUNCH, on its cosmic quest, To learn about the Sun, we're truly blessed, With its microsatellites shining so bright, PUNCH will bring knowledge, like stars in the night.
