Psalm 131

Lord, my heart is not haughty, I'm not proud or lofty, I don't seek things too great, I find joy in a humble state. Like a child, I am content, With simple things, I am bent, I don't strive for worldly fame, In humility, I find my aim. In the Lord, I put my trust, He is faithful and just, He lifts up the humble soul, And makes them truly whole. Though others may boast and brag, I choose a different path to drag, For in meekness, I find grace, And in God's presence, I embrace. So let us learn from this psalm, To be humble and stay calm, For in the humble heart, we'll find, A peace that's gentle and kind. Random page: Xoana Iacoi
