Q J Roy Meteorol Soc
Once upon a time, in a land quite grand,
There was a journal, oh so grand,
The Royal Meteorological Society's pride,
With facts and knowledge, it did provide.
Published quarterly, with great care,
In the realm of meteorology, it did fare,
Peer-reviewed and scientific, oh so true,
Bringing weather wisdom, just for you.
In eighteen seventy-one, it first began,
As Bibliography of Meteorological Literature, a plan,
But in eighteen seventy-three, it got a new name,
The Quarterly Journal, bringing meteorology fame.
Eight times a year, it would appear,
With articles and studies, oh so clear,
Wiley-Blackwell published, on behalf,
Of the Royal Meteorological Society, a loving staff.
So children, let's learn about the weather,
With this journal, we'll be quite clever,
From rain to sunshine, storms to snow,
The Royal Meteorological Society will help us know.
