Quacking
In the water, oh so grand,
Ducks are swimming, hand in hand.
With feathers soft and wings so wide,
They glide upon the water's tide.
Ducks are smaller, it is true,
Than swans and geese, that's nothing new.
Their necks are shorter, their size is small,
But they're just as lovely, one and all.
Ducks are found in water, fresh and sea,
Where they swim so gracefully.
They dive and splash, with great delight,
In the daytime and at night.
Sometimes, ducks are confused, you see,
With other birds that look like thee.
Loons and grebes, gallinules too,
But ducks are special, through and through.
So let's admire the ducks we see,
With their feathers so bright and free.
In the water, they make us smile,
Oh, ducks, you truly are worthwhile!
