RB-57 Canberra
In the land of the brave and free,
A plane was built, oh what a sight to see!
The B-57 Canberra, so sleek and grand,
A twin-engined bomber, soaring over the land.
With wings that spread wide, like a bird in flight,
It took to the skies, with all its might.
The first jet bomber, in the USA's care,
Dropping bombs in combat, with precision and flair.
During the Vietnam War, it played its role,
Bombing the enemy, with heart and soul.
But not just a bomber, it had more to give,
As a high-altitude spy, it helped us live.
Exported abroad, to countries far and wide,
The B-57 Canberra, a source of pride.
In Pakistan's wars, it flew with grace,
Protecting the skies, in a foreign place.
Now retired from service, its mission complete,
But three still fly, oh what a feat!
WB-57Fs, reaching for the sky,
Exploring the unknown, up so high.
