In Ontario, there's a council, you see, That keeps an eye on real estate, with glee. Established in '97, it's quite a feat, To regulate the trade, and keep it neat. The Real Estate Council, it's not for profit, Working in the public's interest, they won't quit. They administer and enforce the law, To make sure real estate is without flaw. If you want to trade, in real estate, You must be registered, it's not up for debate. Individuals and businesses, both alike, Need to be part of the council, to take a hike. Salespersons, brokers, and brokerages too, More than 80,000, that's quite a crew. All registered with the council, you see, To make sure real estate is done properly. So remember, my friends, when you're buying a home, The Real Estate Council is there to roam. They'll protect your interests, with all their might, Making sure everything is just right.
