RNAD Crombie
In West Fife, by the Firth of Forth,
There lies a depot of great worth.
Defence Munitions Crombie, it's called,
Where military munitions are installed.
Since 1916, it has stood strong,
A place where weapons belong.
Once known as RNAD Crombie, you see,
Now part of the UK's Defence Agency.
With two jetties and a water channel deep,
Warships and vessels come to reap.
The Royal Navy finds a place to moor,
For resupplying, they come ashore.
South of Crombie, on the river's north shore,
A village nearby, Charlestown, it adores.
A picturesque spot, where history resides,
And munitions are stored with great pride.
So let us remember this depot grand,
Where weapons rest on Scottish land.
Defence Munitions Crombie, we sing,
A place where safety and protection bring.
