In Belarus, there was a lad, Whose skills on ice made hearts so glad, Alexander, a hockey star, With stick in hand, he'd travel far. Born on April's Fool's Day, so rare, His talent shone, beyond compare, In '78, he came to be, A legend on the ice, you see. At the World Championship, he'd play, For Belarus, he'd proudly sway, His team, they fought with all their might, With Alexander, a shining light. With every stride and every goal, He captured hearts, both young and old, His passion for the game so clear, Inspiring all, year after year.
