SBBL 32-pounder

Once upon a time, in a land far away, There was a gun that had quite a lot to say, The SBBL 32-pounder, a British delight, Made by converting guns, oh what a sight! It started as a muzzle-loading gun, you see, But then it transformed into something fancy and free, With a smooth-bore barrel, it was quite a sight, Ready to shoot, with all its might! A breech-loading gun, it was so grand, No more loading from the front, it could withstand, The SBBL 32-pounder, a true invention, A British creation, with so much attention! With a weight of 42 cwt, it was quite heavy, But that didn't stop it from being so steady, It fired 32-pound shells, oh what a blast, A powerful weapon, unsurpassed! So let's remember the SBBL 32-pounder's tale, A gun that transformed, without fail, From muzzle-loading to breech-loading, it did evolve, A British treasure, a problem it did solve!
