In America's land, so wide and grand, Highways stretch across the land. From Louisiana to Texas, they go, Numbered in the thousands, don't you know? In the numeric range, one thousand to fourteen, These highways are a sight to be seen. Through Kentucky they wind, with curves and bends, And in Georgia and New Mexico, their journey extends. But across the pond, in Great Britain's land, The roads have a different numbering plan. With four digits they're named, A or B they're called, Trunk roads or distributors, they're proudly installed. The British roads, so unique and grand, With A or B, they're easy to understand. But in this rhyme, we'll focus on the US, With highways in the thousands, causing no distress. So let's hit the road, and explore with glee, The highways that stretch across this country. From Louisiana to Texas, and Kentucky too, These roads will take us on an adventure, it's true!
