Besugo was a hero, fearless and strong, She sank a tanker, oh so long. Nichei Maru was no match for her might, She protected the seas, day and night. In the Korean War and Cold War, she served, A symbol of freedom, that's what she deserved. But her time came to an end, it was true, Besugo retired, bidding her crew adieu.
