In the land of baseball, oh so grand, There was a coach, with skills in hand, Keiichi Yabu, his name so fine, Teaching pitchers to throw that baseball line. With the Hanshin Tigers, he takes his stand, Guiding players with a steady hand, From the mound, he throws with grace, Teaching the art of pitching ace. In Japan he played, for eleven years, With passion and talent, he brought cheers, Then across the ocean, to the MLB, Oakland A's and Giants, where he'd be. In Oakland, he pitched with might, Striking out batters left and right, San Francisco called, with open arms, Yabu's talent, they couldn't disarm.
