Sravakabuddha

In ancient times, in India's land, A path to enlightenment was planned. Śrāvakayāna, it was called, For disciples, both young and old. The "vehicle of listeners" it's named, For those who listened, their hearts inflamed. They followed the teachings, day and night, To achieve liberation, shining bright. The Arhats, they walked this noble way, Attaining freedom, come what may. Through lineage and wisdom, they found, The path to enlightenment, profound. A Śrāvakabuddha, a special name, For a Buddha who achieved the same. Not a Samyaksaṃbuddha or pratyekabuddha, But a listener, with wisdom, Buddha. So let us learn from this ancient tale, To listen and follow, without fail. For in the path of listeners, we may find, Enlightenment, in heart and mind. Random page: Lgbt
