TIA-574

In the land of technology, long ago, A standard was born, you should know. RS-232, its name so grand, For serial communication, it took a stand. With connectors and signals, it did define, The way computers and modems would align. DTE and DCE, they danced in sync, Transmitting data, oh, what a link! From computers to printers, it was the key, To mice and storage, it connected with glee. Uninterruptible power supplies, it did serve, RS-232, a connection with nerve. But as time went on, new interfaces arose, RS-422, RS-485, and Ethernet, they chose. Faster speeds and longer cables they brought, RS-232's limitations, they sought. Yet in CNC machines and scientific gear, RS-232 still holds its place dear. For short-range connections, it's still the best, A reliable link, passing the test. So remember RS-232, a tale of old, A standard that stood strong, bold and bold. Though USB has taken its place in most, RS-232's legacy, we shall toast. Random page: Trabanca, Spain
