TrES-1 b
In the constellation of Lyra, so far away,
A planet called TrES-1b comes out to play.
It's an extrasolar world, oh so far from our sight,
But we'll learn about its wonders, both day and night.
TrES-1b is a planet, like Jupiter it seems,
With a similar composition, a planet of dreams.
But unlike our Jupiter, it's not very far,
It's cozy and close to its orange dwarf star.
TrES-1b is special, it's a hot Jupiter indeed,
A class of planets that we're starting to heed.
It orbits its star, GSC 02652-01324 by name,
In a dance so enchanting, it's never the same.
With a mass and radius that make scientists smile,
TrES-1b is a wonder, it's truly worthwhile.
523 light-years away, it twinkles and gleams,
A sparkling jewel in the night sky, or so it seems.
So let's imagine this planet, so far and so grand,
With its swirling storms and its magical land.
TrES-1b, a celestial delight,
In the whimsical world of the Lyre's starry night.
