Tu-234
In the sky, so high and blue,
A jet so sleek and shiny too.
The Tupolev Tu-204, it's called,
With engines strong and passengers enthralled.
A medium-range, narrow-body plane,
Carrying passengers, it's quite the gain.
Two engines power it through the air,
With room for two hundred, it's quite a fair.
Designed by Tupolev, a master of flight,
Aviastar-SP and Kazan, they took the light.
Introduced in '89, a brand new star,
To replace the Tu-154, it went far.
Competing with the Boeing 757, it stood tall,
With performance and fuel efficiency, it had it all.
A little less range and payload, but that's alright,
The Tu-204 was a true delight.
Now in its latest version, the Tu-204SM,
With upgrades and improvements, it's a true gem.
Maiden flight in 2010, it took to the sky,
And with plans for more, it continues to fly high.
