Ualarai language
The Gamilaraay language, so renowned.
Pama-Nyungan, it's a special kind,
Of Wiradhuric subgroup, you will find.
Their language, a treasure, passed along.
They speak Wirray Wirray, so sweet,
And Guyinbaraay, a language treat.
With words and sounds you'll never forget.
Waalaraay, a language so grand,
And Gawambaraay, across the land.
Endangered, but with love and care,
The speakers grew, from eighty-seven,
To one hundred five, in language heaven.
As Gamilaraay, side by side.
In schools, the language is taught,
Preserving the culture, as we ought.
