Ucd.ie
In Dublin town, so grand and bright,
Stands a university, shining with light.
UCD is its name, you see,
A place of learning, where you can be free.
With students aplenty, forty thousand strong,
UCD is where they all belong.
The largest university in the land,
Where knowledge and dreams go hand in hand.
Nobel Laureates, so wise and bright,
Have walked these halls, their minds alight.
Taoisigh and Presidents, oh so grand,
Have studied here, with books in hand.
From humble beginnings, it did arise,
In eighteen fifty-four, to our surprise.
First a Catholic University, so fair,
Now a research hub, beyond compare.
On a campus vast, with fields so green,
At Belfield, a sight to be seen.
UCD, a place of joy and cheer,
Where learning and fun are always near.
