Uganda Joint Christian Council

In Uganda's land, so grand and wide, A council formed with faith and pride, Christians united, hand in hand, To spread God's love across the land. Founded in sixty-three, so long ago, The Uganda Joint Christian Council did grow, A member of the World Council of Churches, And the Fellowship of Christian Councils it searches. To be a member, there's a special clause, Adhering to the Bible's authentic laws, The Apostles' Creed, they must embrace, And baptism by water, in God's grace. Anglicans, Catholics, and the Orthodox too, Together they form this council, true, The Church of Uganda, with Anglican might, The Roman Catholic Church, shining bright. The Eastern Orthodox Church, in Uganda's land, All joined together, hand in hand, With associate members, they work as one, Uganda Bible Society, their mission begun.
