Uk dialling codes

In the United Kingdom, so vast and grand, Telephone codes are used across the land. Ofcom keeps them in check, you see, Making sure we can all make a call with glee. The national plan, it is quite neat, With a trunk prefix of zero, it's hard to beat. Before subscriber trunk dialling came to be, Zero was the number for long-distance, you see. Coventry's code covers Warwickshire wide, And Manchester's code, it's quite a ride. Neighbouring towns, they all share the fame, With one code for all, it's not a game. When dialling abroad, the zero is gone, But within the country, it must be drawn. Most areas keep their original code, A letter code once, now a number to behold. Mobile phones and VoIP, they need the code, To make a call, it's the only mode. So remember, my friends, when you make a call, Dial the code, big or small. Random page: WLEZ
