Uladzimir Arlou
There once was a man named Arlou,
A historian with a heart so true.
He wrote about the past and the present,
With words so eloquent and pleasant.
In Belarus, his home so dear,
He shared stories far and near.
With pen in hand, he weaved a tale,
Of heroes brave and lands so frail.
His words would make you understand.
The beauty of the world, both near and far,
He painted pictures with his lyrical memoir.
A politician, he stood up for what's right,
Fighting for justice with all his might.
He believed in freedom, and in unity,
A voice for the people, for all to see.
Chairman of PEN, a role so grand,
Promoting literature across the land.
He brought writers together, far and wide,
Creating a world where words could collide.
