Uxbridge Cricket Club Ground

In nineteen seventy-one, a ground was born, Uxbridge Cricket Ground, a place to adorn. With a rich history, it came to be, Home to the cricket club, so merrily. Once upon a time, on Cricketfield Road, The team played their matches, a mighty ode. But Uxbridge High Street, it did transform, And the club moved away, a brand new norm. Across from Uxbridge Common, the ground now stands, A picturesque setting, with nature's hands. In the 19th century, they played with glee, On the common's green, so wild and free. The cricket club, with passion and might, They practice and play, from morning till night. With bats and balls, they swing and they throw, Uxbridge Cricket Ground, where legends grow. So come along, children, let's cheer and shout, Support the team, as they bat and bowl out. Uxbridge Cricket Ground, a place so grand, Where cricket's played, in this magical land.
