VZ Ari
VZ Arietis twinkles in the night.
A single star, white-hued and fair,
It shines with a magical, celestial flair.
In unpolluted skies, it beams.
Its magnitude varies, oh what a sight,
Between 5.82 and 5.89, so bright.
A distance so vast, we can't decide.
Its parallax shift, a tiny measure,
5.8 mas, a celestial treasure.
With a heliocentric radial velocity so true.
At +14 km/s, it zooms away,
Leaving us in awe, as it goes astray.
Of type CP2, so unique to see.
Silicon in abundance, it does possess,
In its spectrum, a magical caress.
