Once upon a time, in Dartmouth College town, There was a radio station, that never let us down. WDCR, its name, so lively and bright, Broadcasting news and music, from morning until night. For over fifty years, it played its merry tunes, From Top-40 hits, to alternative tunes. The students gathered 'round, to hear the DJ's voice, As they danced and sang along, their hearts would rejoice. Licensed in Hanover, in New Hampshire's embrace, WDCR served the Upper Valley with grace. From Hanover to the surrounding lands so wide, The station's signal reached, with joy and with pride. Sports were a big part, of this station's great fame, Broadcasting Dartmouth's teams, with a proud acclaim. The Dartmouth Sports Network, joined in the fun, Cheering for the Big Green, until the game was won. The station's license, held by Dartmouth's Trustees, They cherished this treasure, with hearts full of ease.
