WHEELS (California)
Oh, the Wheels on the Bus go round and round,
In the Tri-Valley region, they can be found.
With a Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority,
They bring joy and fun to the community.
The Wheels on the Bus go to Dublin and Pleasanton,
Taking passengers to their destinations, one by one.
They operate local and limited-stop service,
Bringing convenience and comfort, they never miss.
The Wheels on the Bus go into Contra Costa County,
Along Interstate 680, a journey so bounty.
With friendly drivers and a smile on their face,
They make every ride a delightful embrace.
The LAVTA formed in 1985, a transit creation,
Bringing Wheels to the Tri-Valley with dedication.
In '86, Dublin and Pleasanton got their first taste,
Of this wonderful bus service, they embraced.
In '87, Livermore's Rideo service they did take,
Expanding their reach, for everyone's sake.
With over a million riders in 2022's embrace,
Wheels on the Bus bring smiles to each face.
