In a world of cities, big and small, A tool was created to map them all. WUDAPT is its name, oh so grand, To understand urban climates, it takes a stand. With a database and a portal, oh so neat, WUDAPT helps us create climate zone maps, complete. From the tiniest details to the grandest view, It uses crowdsourcing, with help from me and you. In urban areas, where people reside, WUDAPT shows how weather and climate collide. Though they cover just 3% of Earth's land, Cities influence weather with a mighty hand. The urban heat island effect it did find, Cities make temperatures rise, oh my, oh my! NUDAPT, its predecessor, paved the way, With data for 33 US cities, it did display. From Europe to China, WUDAPT did roam, Creating climate maps and analyzing heat waves, oh how it shone. So let's learn about cities, big and small, With WUDAPT, we'll understand them all!
