In a land so ancient and grand, Where harmony and peace expand, The people of Wa, they did dwell, In the land where stories tell. From Kyushu to Yamato's reign, The name of Wa, it did remain, Chinese and Korean scribes did say, Wa, the name that came their way. At first, they called them "submissive" and "dwarf", But the Wa people held no scar, They embraced the name with open arms, Finding beauty in its ancient charms. Through the centuries, the name did change, From "distant" to "harmony" so strange, The Japanese people, proud and strong, Sang the name of Wa in every song.
