In Western Canada, where the snowflakes fall,
A league of hockey heroes, they stood so tall.
From '45 to '51, they played with might,
Skating on the ice, under the starry night.
The Senior Hockey League, oh what a sight,
With teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan's might.
They battled on the ice, with sticks and skates,
Creating memories that no one ever forgets.
In '46, they won the Allan Cup,
Their victory celebrated, with cheers and hugs.
And in '48, they triumphed once again,
Champions of the cup, they were the best men.
But as time went on, things began to change,
The league merged with another, a brand new range.
They joined the Pacific Coast Hockey League,
A new chapter began, with excitement and zeal.
Though the league is gone, its legacy remains,
The hockey heroes' stories, forever ingrained.
Their passion and skill, an inspiration to all,
In Western Canada, where hockey heroes stand tall.
