Wh question

In a land of words and rhyme, There lived a question, so sublime. It asked for knowledge, it sought to know, With every answer, it would grow. Is this a polar question, it asked with glee, A simple "yes" or "no" would be. With a nod or a shake, the answer would come, And the question would dance, feeling so young. Is this a polar question, or an alternative one? A list of choices, a game of fun. To choose from possibilities, left or right, The question would ponder, day and night. What kind of question is this, it inquired, An open question, with answers desired. With countless resolutions, it would explore, The question would learn, forevermore. In the realm of words, questions hold sway, Studied by scholars, both night and day. In linguistics and philosophy, they're revered, As illocutionary acts, to be endeared. In semantics, they're denotations, so grand, Sets of propositions, they command. Questions are curious, they're full of delight, And the question would ask, with all its might. Random page: DADE-B
