Treaties signed in '98, oh so fine, Repudiating weapons, a noble line. Geneva Protocol, '30 was the year, To protect and cherish, without fear. Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, so wise, Signed in '70, reaching for the skies. Canada's pledge to keep the world secure, A promise of peace, forever pure. No bombs or missiles, no weapons of might, In Canada's heart, love takes flight. Children play, with joy and glee, In a land where peace will always be.
