In Canada's peaceful land so grand,
Weapons of mass destruction are banned.
Since '84, they've been put away,
A commitment to peace, come what may.
Treaties signed in '98, oh so fine,
Repudiating weapons, a noble line.
Geneva Protocol, '30 was the year,
To protect and cherish, without fear.
Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, so wise,
Signed in '70, reaching for the skies.
Canada's pledge to keep the world secure,
A promise of peace, forever pure.
No bombs or missiles, no weapons of might,
In Canada's heart, love takes flight.
Children play, with joy and glee,
In a land where peace will always be.
So let us learn from Canada's way,
To live in peace, each and every day.
With treaties and love, we can all agree,
A world without weapons, where all are free.
