Woban-class harbor tug
Tugboats sail, with work to do.
They push and pull, with all their might,
Moving ships and barges, day and night.
Made of steel or wood, they stand tall.
The V4-M-A1, a mighty beast,
186 feet long, a tug that won't cease.
94 feet long, a powerful plug.
And wooden hulls, oh so grand,
The V3-S-AH2, with 148 feet spanned.
The V2-M-AL1, a tugboat on the run.
Off to the United Kingdom it went,
To aid in the war, its strength was spent.
In the Pacific, Europe, and by our side.
They helped build Normandy's ports, you see,
On D-Day, they made history.
So let's raise a cheer for the tugboats brave,
With their diesel engines, they'll always save.
They maneuver vessels with skill and grace,
Tugboats, the heroes of every place.
