A winter wonderland, full of grace. From February 6th to the 18th, Athletes gathered, ready to create. With skis of gold, he did behold. Three events he conquered, with skill and might, Alpine skiing champion, shining bright. For the first time, separate they soared. United in sport, yet divided in name, A historic moment, forever to claim. Ordered drug and gender tests, oh my! Ensuring fair play, for all to see, A level playing field, where dreams run free. With gold and medals, they did glide. The Soviet Union, no longer on top, A new champion emerged, to the world's shock. So let us remember, the Games of '68, Where nations united, to celebrate.
