Ya'qub Abu Yusuf
In a land of knowledge and law,
Lived Abu Yusuf, we all saw.
A student of Abu Hanifa so wise,
He spread the Hanafi school, reaching the skies.
With his writings and his pen,
He taught the people again and again.
A treatise on taxation, he did share,
Kitab al-Kharaj, a book so rare.
As the chief judge he did serve,
During Harun al-Rashid's reign, with nerve.
Fair and just, he made his decree,
Guiding the people, setting them free.
His influence grew far and wide,
Spreading the Hanafi school with pride.
Through his words and government role,
He left a mark upon the legal scroll.
Abu Yusuf, a scholar so grand,
His teachings still echo across the land.
In the realm of law, he'll forever remain,
An inspiration to all, his wisdom we gain.
