Zub Zero (CBBC)
In a land of games and fun,
There was a show that had just begun,
Sub Zero was its mighty name,
Where children played and won their fame.
Girls and boys, side by side,
Into the challenges they did stride,
With tasks and puzzles to complete,
They showed their skills, oh so neat.
The Crystal Maze was their inspiration,
Filled with excitement and fascination,
On CBBC, it aired with pride,
From '99 to '01, a thrilling ride.
Edward Stevenson, a clever young lad,
Named the show, oh how he was glad,
Sub Zero, the perfect title it became,
For the "Ultimate Battle of the Sexes" game.
Contestants, brave and full of glee,
Some became stars on our TV,
Lauren Jamison, a presenter bright,
And Matt Webb, who shines so light.
So let's remember Sub Zero's glory,
A show that became a children's story,
With challenges and laughter galore,
It will live on forevermore.
