But the dream didn't end, oh no, not quite, Ken Thompson, Dennis Ritchie, they saw the light, They wanted a system, small and tight, A fellowship of programmers, shining so bright. Unix was born, a vision so clear, A system for programming, oh my dear, But it was more than that, it was a place, Where communication thrived, at a steady pace.
