As (Unix)

Where Unix commands are hexed, There lived an assembler, wise and old, Whose stories were worth more than gold. Once upon a time, it began, The assembler had a clever plan, To turn instructions into code, A magical process, he bestowed. With his commands, he could create, Programs that would communicate, He'd take the code, line by line, And transform it into something fine. His name was simple, just "as", A command that would forever last, He'd take the source, a file so grand, And turn it into something grand. With his magic, he'd assemble, Bits and bytes, he would wrestle, Creating programs, big and small, For computers, one and all. So children, remember this tale, Of the assembler, brave and hale, He turned code into something more, A poet of the Unix folklore. Random page: VNCA
