With wings outstretched, it takes to the air, A guardian of the seas, with a watchful stare. But some were converted, a daring trek. With JATO assist, they launched from the sea, Stop-gap bombers, where would they be? The Neptune, a symbol, on every side. Armed forces embraced it, a trusted friend, Serving with honor, until the end. The Lockheed P-2 Neptune, brave and bold.
