In Cinnamonson, New Jersey,
A company was born, you see,
DNA Plant Technology,
With a mission to solve agriculture's mystery.
They moved to California in '94,
To explore and discover even more,
Creating plants that were transgenic,
With traits that were truly unique and magic.
Vine sweet mini peppers they did create,
A tasty treat, oh how they were great,
And the Fish tomato, oh what a sight,
With genes from a fish, it was quite a delight.
Y1 tobacco was another creation,
With enhanced resistance, a marvelous sensation,
But in 2002, the company had to part,
As Bionova closed its doors, breaking hearts.
But let's remember their innovative quest,
To make agriculture the very best,
DNA Plant Technology, a pioneer true,
Inspiring others to dream and pursue.
