DT570
In the land of trucks and buses so grand,
There's an engine that's known throughout the land,
The Navistar DT, it's a powerful beast,
With horsepower ranging from west to east.
From 170 horses to 350 strong,
It's the heart of the trucks that travel along,
Mid-range and inline-6, it's a sight to see,
Making sure the vehicles run with glee.
In school buses it's found, oh what a delight,
Carrying children safely from morning to night,
But it's not just for buses, oh no, my friend,
Heavy-duty trucks it can also defend.
Once upon a time, in the days of old,
Navistar DT in farms and construction it was told,
Before it became the engine of the road,
It worked hard in fields, carrying heavy loads.
And let's not forget, Detroit Diesel's fame,
Rebadged as Series 40, it gained its own name,
From '97 to '04, it roared with pride,
The DT engine, a legend that will never hide.
