FPGAs
In a world of circuits and wires so grand,
There lived a chip, oh so magical and grand.
It was called an FPGA, a special kind,
With powers to program, oh what a find!
With programmable logic blocks, it could be,
Configured to perform functions, you see.
It could act as gates, like AND and XOR,
Or perform complex tasks, even more!
In telecommunications, it found its place,
With speed and flexibility, it won the race.
Automotive and aerospace, it did assist,
With parallel processing, it couldn't resist!
Using a hardware description language, you know,
FPGA configuration would always glow.
Just like an ASIC, it could be specified,
With circuit diagrams, it was once simplified.
But the magic didn't stop there, my friend,
FPGAs had memory elements to lend.
Flip-flops and memory blocks, oh so neat,
Reprogrammable functions, a flexible feat!
In embedded systems, it played a role,
Starting software development, a perfect goal.
Simulations and trials, it could do,
Before finalizing the system, all through and through.
So let's celebrate the magical chip so grand,
The FPGA, with powers at its command.
In the world of circuits, it shines so bright,
A true marvel of technology's might!
