In the vastness of space, up high, An explorer so brave, it flies, IXPE, its name, you see, To study the cosmic mystery. With telescopes, three in a row, It measures X-rays as they flow, From black holes, pulsars, and stars, Revealing secrets from afar. Launched in December, oh, what a sight, A collaboration, shining so bright, NASA and ASI, hand in hand, Exploring the cosmos, across the land. Magnetic fields, they will map, Of black holes and stars, oh, what a snap, Supernova remnants, quasars too, IXPE will uncover their clues. In high-temperature realms, they're made, These objects, where X-rays cascade, By studying their polarization, We learn about their creation.
