Ir Med J
Once upon a time, in eighteen sixty-seven,
A journal was born, like a star from heaven.
The Irish Medical Journal, so wise and grand,
A treasure trove of knowledge, across the land.
Peer-reviewed it is, with experts in the know,
They carefully read each word, and watch it grow.
The doctors and nurses, they all contribute,
To make this journal, a medical pursuit.
The Irish Medical Organisation, it's true,
They proudly call this journal their official view.
For over a century, it's been their guide,
To help them heal, and care with pride.
A continuation it is, of the Journal before,
The Irish Medical Association, forevermore.
They pass the torch, from generation to generation,
Keeping the flame of medical innovation.
So let's celebrate this journal, so dear,
With knowledge and wisdom, it brings us cheer.
For doctors and nurses, young and old,
The Irish Medical Journal, a story to be told.
