Jhamal Bowen
Jhamal Bowen, a jumper so fine,
Born in Colón, his talent did shine.
Coached by Florencio, he learned to soar,
In the long jump, he wanted to explore.
As a junior, he showed his might,
Ninth in the world, oh, what a sight!
Gold medals he won, with grace and flair,
At South American Youth and Pan American Junior, he did share.
On the European circuit, he did compete,
Jumping high, his skills so sweet.
Ninth at Ibero-American Championships, he did strive,
Silver at Central American Games, he did thrive.
Central American Championships, he claimed the gold,
With a silver in the relay, a story to be told.
Fifth at South American Championships, he did strive,
Ibero-American Championships, fifth, he did arrive.
Central American and Caribbean Games, fifth he stood,
Central American Championships, seventh, so good.
Bronze at Central American Games, a medal so bright,
Gold at Central American Championships, what a delight!
Oh, Jhamal Bowen, a jumper so grand,
With a personal best jump, he did expand.
