Khaati
In Haryana, there's a group so grand,
Called the Khati, a Vishwakarma band.
They're a sub-caste, unique and true,
With skills and talents, they surely knew.
Jangra or Jangir, their titles they bear,
But not all Jangras are Khati, take care.
Some are Brahmin, some Vishwakarma as well,
They're classified as OBC, you see,
An Other Backward Class, but full of glee.
With craftsmanship and artistry to share,
They create wonders with love and care.
From woodwork to metalwork, they excel,
Building homes and temples, oh what a spell!
Their hands are skilled, their hearts are kind,
Their creations, treasures you'll always find.
So let's celebrate the Khati's glory,
Their heritage and their inspiring story.
With their talents and traditions so grand,
They bring beauty to our beloved land.
